DataMeets
DataMeets are free regional events organised by SISRA. The aim is to provide data managers, exams officers and other support staff (as well as staff with responsibility for administering SISRA Analytics) with the opportunity to get together on a termly basis to discuss important changes, to network and to seek advice.
DataMeets are hosted in SISRA schools all over the country, but you don’t have to be a SISRA customer to attend. Everyone is welcome! The meetings are chaired by a member of the SISRA consultancy team, however we keep the agendas as general as possible.
During the meetings we discuss a variety of topics and all attendees have the opportunity to add to the agenda in advance. Here are some examples of previous agenda items:
- SIMS, Progresso, Bromcom and other MIS
- DfE Policy and Statement of Intent changes/updates
- School census
- Exams and results analysis
- Target setting
- Training teachers in the use of data
- Best CPD and courses
- Interventions and pupil tracking/monitoring
- Anything of interest from attendees
